We are seeking a highly organised and quality-focused Lead Teacher to help conduct the development, implementation, assessment and reporting of quality curriculum across all our ECG Secondary College Campuses.
Please note, the Lead Teacher position is max term (3-years) but will develop into an ongoing Teacher role with ECG. The base location for this role can be negotiated upon commencement.
The role
- Coordinate and organise structures that ensure the achievement of a guaranteed and viable curriculum in the ECG year 9/10 program.
- Mentoring of provisionally registered teachers to support the attainment of full VIT registration status.
- Administration of Naplan testing.
- Administration of PAT testing.
- Provide teaching staff with timely information on changes and developments in curriculum and seek and share information about training opportunities on curriculum with staff.
- Support teachers to provide an innovative, applied learning program to meet the learning needs of individual students.
- Monitor external communications such as VCAA and VRQA to ensure compliance.
- Contributing to the safety of all students by adhering to the Child Safe Policies, Procedures and Codes of Conduct to ensure all students with CCG are in a safe and inclusive learning environment. CCG is a child safe organisation and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students. CCG has zero tolerance for child abuse.
Requirements
- VIT Teacher Registration
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- Post graduate education qualification
- 5+ years of teaching experience
