We are a not-for-profit organisation, with dedicated teachers that make learning come to life through hands-on, practical education tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Our Secondary School Casual Relief Teachers require compassion and an understanding of behavioural and trauma-informed strategies to create safe and supportive learning environments.
Our teacher support team includes:
- Learning Support Officers
- Wellbeing team including Youth Workers and Counsellor
- Student engagement support
- Innovation, excellence and curriculum development
Our curriculum goes beyond traditional academics and builds self-esteem, confidence and resilience of students, to ensure they are equipped with life skills.
We are excited about expanding our services in 2025 to provide earlier opportunities for students to access our services. We now offer year 9 and 10 students access to our tailored learning approach leading them to Victorian Pathway Certificate (VPC) and VCE Vocational Major (VM).
Role
- Further develop and deliver year 9/10 or VCE (VM), VPC learning and assessment materials
- Develop and maintain IEP/ Student Support Plans and participate in student care meetings
- Report on student achievements regularly
- Provide educational and well-being support to students in a trauma-informed way that promotes safety, and positive relationships and creates a supportive learning environment
- Contribute to the safety of all students by adhering to the Child Safe practices.

Requirements
- Relevant Teaching Qualification
- VIT teacher registration/permissions to teach
