Return to Face-to-Face Learning

To our wonderful students and families,

Following the announcements from the Victorian Premier and advice from the Chief Health Officer today, face-to-face classes will recommence at ECG College on Tuesday, 26 May 2020.

We cannot wait to welcome our students back into the classroom! Here are some important things to know:

• School will start and finish at the normal time, however, breaks will be staggered throughout the day to minimise the number of students in common areas

• Changes will be made across our campuses to ensure that students can maintain physical distancing of 1.5m in shared spaces

• An extensive cleaning regimen will continue, including making sure that students can easily wash their hands and access cleaning materials throughout the day (for use on high-touch surfaces like desks and equipment)

• Students and staff are required to stay home from school if they are feeling unwell

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the return to school for ECG College students. We will be happy to speak with you.

One final note – a big thank you to you all of our students and the families who supported them to learn from home during this period. We know that it has been stressful, challenging and overwhelming at times. Congratulations to all of you.

Kind regards,

Sue Geals, Executive Principal and Andrew Glover, Principal
