A Message for our Students

“We may not be in our normal seats, but we are here to support you!” CEO, Sue Geals said today. “Like you, we can’t wait for this to be over. Until then, we are developing new ways to connect with you and build your skills and knowledge from afar.”

Education Centre Gippsland (ECG) College is planning to resume classes after the Easter holiday, with lessons currently scheduled to start on Tuesday 14 April for all campuses.

“We are exploring different forms of flexible and remote delivery,” Ms Geals said. “We will continue to evolve our methods as we test what works well – and not so well – over the coming weeks.”

Students can expect to hear from their teachers the week before classes return, where more information will be provided about how the return to study will work.

“Watch this space!” Ms Geals said. “In the meantime, if students or their families have any questions, we are available on phone:5622 6000 and email: info@ecg.vic.edu.au and will be very happy to help.”

Ms Geals also reminded students that support was available.

“If a student is feeling anxious, overwhelmed or in need of support during the holidays, our Youth Work team are here to provide help. We encourage students to call us on 5622 6000 during business hours and we will arrange for our team to call the student back.”
